Badminton World Federation (BWF) officiated the launch of the new outdoor game, AirBadminton, in May 2019. By using the same rackets but with a new outdoor shuttlecock, the AirShuttle creates opportunities for people to play badminton on hard, grass and sand surfaces in parks, gardens, streets, playgrounds and beaches around the world.

AS-AIRSHUTTLE II changes the materials of the shuttle skirt to nylon and improves its durability significantly. Additionally, the new neon colour provides sharper visibility in the outdoor environment.
