Molten recently introduced the new BG-Series, as the official basketball of FIBA. They have now created a slightly updated version of the GB4500 ball, called BG4550. While sharing much of the same outstanding characteristics as its predecessor, it also has an improved surface for even better grip and control. This surface more resembles the GGX series, which is a good thing since that has been our favourite model.

This Molten BG4550 basketball is the little brother of the BG5000 official game ball. Made of premium composite leather it has excellent grip and bounce and is maybe a bit easier to play with, compared to the BG5000. The perfect ball for all of us not playing in the professional leagues in Europe and have not yet (but soon will) made it to the World Championship or Olympic Games, but still want to play with a superb quality ball.
